Wishing you had a supermodel body?
Yeahhh, ummm, you and every woman in this world.
Although I’m happy with the body God gave me, there’s always room for improvement. But luckily over the years I’ve used fashion to compliment different parts of my body. I have learned a couple tricks of the trade when it comes to “faking it!” Yeah, I’m sure you’re thinking…why is this lady talking about body goals? I’m 5’8 and with heels I’m pushing 6’0 feet…thanks Dad! Buttttt, with all these AMAZING (unrealistic) bodies floating around on social media, I thought it would be helpful to share how to create your own body goals.
IT STARTS WITH YOUR CLOTHES. And the gym…but we’ll get to that.
You may be thinking jumpsuits are the LAST thing that would elongate your body, but with the right styling, it’s easy to achieve!
- Adding a pair of heels, preferably nude – it’ll blend better with your complexion making the illusion that the strap doesn’t stop at your ankle.
- Pull your hair off your face to show your beautiful neck. This is one of my easiest and simplest tricks to appearing thinner & longer. By showing off your long neck & some extra skin around your collarbones, you will be more inclined to stand up straight and roll your shoulders back….which we all know helps in adding to the overall look of your outfit! (In my case, since my hair is short you can still see my neck)
- Wearing a belt around your waist creates an hour glass shape…which makes you look thinner & taller.
